Hi.
My Golf R 2010 was recently to the bodyshop for minor repairs.
The bodyshop dismantled the front spoiler along with the left fender.
Before this, I´ve only drove my vehicle with the lightswitch in "Auto-mode". Here, only the LED´s would light up during daytime to save the Xenon´s lifetime.
Now, I have to turn the lightswitch to halfbeam/fullbeam position to awaken the LED´s. (they work in parking also).
The serviceguy are Guyguessing that my LED´s shouldn´t be the only lights in front shining during the day in Auto-mode.
What do you actual owners say? What is stock? Otherwise, I need to get this corrected during my next service.
I would be most grateful for any conclusive intel regarding this. 🙏
