- 2010 VW Golf R
Hi.
My Golf R 2010 was recently to the bodyshop for minor repairs.
The body shop dismantled the front spoiler along with the left fender.
I later noticed that my original led-ramps under the xenonlight wasnt activated in the "Auto" position anymore.
I have owned this car for about 4 years, and I have always only driven with the lights in Auto-mode, where the Xenon only turns on when it´s dark enough outside to save the bulbs lifetime.
Now I have to put the switch to the furthest right half-beam/Full-beam position for the leds to start along with the Xenons. (The led´s shine in parking position aswell, but not in Auto).
The customer service guy att VW in my town says that it "probably" shouldn´´t be just led lights shining during daytime in "Auto-mode". I don´t like guyguessings, so what do you real owners say?
= Is it stock that you can run only with the Led-ramps activated in Auto, and the Xenon only lighting up when it gets dark? Yes/No?
Any answers that arent guessings are much appreciated.🙏
