Whats up everyone. First time I've come across this forum, but have had the R for about 2 years(its actually the wife's daily) before that she had a mk6 GTI and we tried the mk8 GTI for about 6-8 months and neither of us cared for that car. It was nothing that the mk6 was, in my opinion the mk8 GTI is the grandma edition. The seats were terrible, the steering wheel controls were ridiculously easy to accidently press, and it didnt handle like a hot hatch should. So I found this R with ~33k miles a couple states away, flew out to pick it up and drove it back 14hrs through the night only stopping for gas and caffeine. The car is pretty heavily modded, big brake kit, aftermarket turbo, ie downpipe, ie mid pipe, MBRP exhaust(previosuly had AWE switchpath), APR intercooler, IE Cold air intake, Aerofabb front splitter, sideskirts, spoiler extension and 18x8.5 Titan 7 T-R10's.

Anyone from south texas? I'm in San Antonio
