Been offered a smf kit which is from a eairly a3 quattro 5 speed with a dxw box.
Am i right in saying a o2m box that is fitted to the s3 8l the exact same box but with 6 gears...
I read the dxw box has a spacer in place of where the 6 gear would be later on. So thus everything else ie. Input shaft is identical from dxw to o2m box
Second question on regards to the flywheel... Whats the best weight for smf which will be running stage two. Seen 7.5kg is one number. Id like it to rev nice and freely.. And being a 2nd car/weekend car which will find its way on to a few track days i wanted to get the best out of what i have.
